Significant Events

The Newtown Junior Golf Academy was founded by Glenn Hughes on April 8, 1998. Ever since it's induction, the Academy has been involved in a great many events throughout the Hampton Roads area. Most notably, the Tiger Woods Foundation Clinic had donated a great amount of money to help us continue our efforts on September 23, 2000. Most significantly, our kids had participated in the Kingsmill LPGA Golf Tournament in the kids clinic in Williamsburg on May 17, 2017.
